Building on the site design, Steelhorse Concepts works closely with clients throughout the web site development to ensure that expectations are met. You will get access to the test environment enabling you to see the design move forward to the fully developed site.

Once the Design phase has been concluded the development begins in earnest. The design is not set in stone, as during the development you or Steelhorse Concepts may conceive of alternate approaches for some aspects of the site. These are then incorporated so that the finished site is of the highest quality.

Thr development is comprised of three main strands. These are the development of functionality, development of site content and the development of the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) elements.

Development of Functionality

Using the industry recognised LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) technologies combined with the powerful Steelhorse Environment the technical development is both rapid and flexible.

The functionality that the site requires in order to meet the site objectives is rapidly developed utilising the tools that the Steelhorse Environment provides. You may want visitors to register on your site - the database work is already done! Where the site requires further fnuctionality then Steelhorse Concepts expands the core database adding in additional tables if necessary and developing the specific business process functionality for your site.

Development of Site Content

The development of the content is normally the main focus of the client at this stage. Working with Steelthorse Concepts you will write the words that will appear on the completed web site.

Steelhorse Concepts will work with you developing the content of your site, The Steelhorse Environment allows you to easily edit the web page and immediately see how it will appear in the final deployed site. Steelhorse Concepts will teach you the rudimentary basics of HTML - how to make word appear in italics or bold which are very easy - alternatively Steelhorse Concepts can do this for you - even to the point of copywriting your entire site.

Development of the SEO Elements

The key elements of SEO are incorporated by Steelhorse Concepts based upon the agreed focus for the web site and its target audience to attract as many visitors as possible.

As part of all web site design and development, Steelhorse Concepts incorporates the Standard SEO package. This addresses those elements of the web page such as the title and meta tags which covers the keywords and the description of the page so that search engines can assess what the page is about.
